Her grandparents Ronald Biles (and her sister Adria) adopted them. The Biles family grew up in the metropolitan areas of Houston. Simone was first introduced to the sport by her daycare instructor Aimee Borman when she was 6 years old. Biles stayed with Bannon's Gymnastix for eleven years. Biles won the vault and floor exercises at the 2009 Women's Junior Olympic National Championships before becoming an highest level of competition in the year 2011. A year later, Biles dominated the sport. Biles stood out because of her unstoppable performance exuberant attitude and the level of challenge she made every event - vault bars that were uneven, balance beam and ground work.
